Desert Whispers

Marrakech • Ouarzazate • Merzouga

The Journey

Eight days that end where the road does — on the great dune of Erg Chebbi, with the Sahara at your feet and the whole sky above your tent.

Between Marrakech and the sand you cross the High Atlas by the Tizi n’Tichka pass, walk the earthen towers of Ait Benhaddou, and follow palm-lined valleys south. The desert night is the quiet centre of it all: a private luxury camp, dinner under lanterns, and more stars than you thought were there.

Journey Highlights

  • Camel trek into Erg Chebbi
  • A private luxury desert camp
  • Ait Benhaddou at first light
  • Stargazing far from any city
  • Dades & Todra gorges

The Itinerary

An unhurried arc across Marrakech • Ouarzazate • Merzouga. Every stop is a suggestion, shaped to you.

  1. Days 1–2

    Marrakech — Gateway South

Settle into the Red City: the souks, a garden or two, and an early night before the mountains.

  2. Day 3

    High Atlas & Ait Benhaddou

Over the Tizi n’Tichka pass to the fortified ksar of Ait Benhaddou, its pisé towers glowing at day’s end.

  3. Day 4

    Ouarzazate & the Draa Valley

The gate of the desert, then a long green ribbon of palmeraie following the Draa toward the sand.

  4. Days 5–6

    Merzouga — Erg Chebbi

Camel trek over the dunes to a private camp. Dinner under lanterns, drums, silence, and a sky thick with stars; sunrise from the high dune.

  5. Day 7

    Gorges of the South

Return through the Todra and Dades gorges, road of a thousand kasbahs, back toward Marrakech.
